Find out more about Historic Beverly, the *Staunton-Parkersburg Turnpike Byway*, and *Rich Mountain Battlefield* at the Rich Mountain Visitor Center.
It is conveniently located in the historic Bushrod Crawford building, "McClellan's Headquarters," on Files Creek Road (Court Street) facing the public square.
In the Visitor Center you'll find a unique gift shop with souvenirs and gifts of Civil War and local heritage interest, including a number of hard-to-find books relating to area history.
Enjoy also the permanent exhibit "Star on the Horizon -- The Battle of Rich Mountain" and a video/slide show presentation of "Much Travel in Season -- the Staunton-Parkersburg Turnpike in Western Virginia."
At the Visitor Center our helpful staff will answer all of your questions about visiting Historic Beverly, and help you find what you are looking for. If you find us closed, the most commonly needed brochures are available on the front porch. And call ahead if you need an appointment for your group for a visit or tour.
